Statement of Faith
WE BELIEVE the Bible is inspired of God, revealed to man and is the infallible rule of faith and conduct. (2 Timothy 3:15-17, 1 Thessalonians 2:13, 2 Peter 1:21)ÂÂ
We believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God. That Jesus Christ has an eternal nature and a human nature and that He was sent by God the Father to redeem us and save us from our sins. (Matthew 1:23, 1 John 4:2,10,14, John 3:16-17)ÂÂ
Further, we believe in the Trinity of the Godhead. God the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. (Matthew 28:19-20, 2 Corinthians 13:14) and that the only way to the Father is through the Son (John 14:6).
We believe that salvation (forgiveness of sin) is received through repentance toward God. That we are justified by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. That we become heirs with God according to the hope of eternal life. (Luke 24:47, John 3:3, Romans 10:13-15, Ephesians 2:8, Romans 8:1-2).ÂÂ
We believe it is our mission to spread the word of God to everyone. (Mark 16:15, Matthew 28:19-20)ÂÂ
We abide in Christ. (John 15:4) We endeavor to bear fruit. (John 15:2) We love as Christ loves. (John 15:12) We earnestly seek to obey Christ. (John 15:10)
